Privacy policy

This website does not track you. There are no cookies, no analytics, and nothing to accept or decline. You can read the whole site without telling us who you are. We only ever hold details you have typed in yourself, which is to say when you buy something or join the club lottery.

Left Field F.C. is an amateur football club in Norwich. For anything to do with this policy or your information, email us at leftfieldfc@gmail.com.

We do not use any. Nothing is stored on your device by this site.

We do not measure visits. We have no analytics tools installed, so we cannot see who visits, what they look at, or where they came from.

The fonts on this site are served from this site. They are not fetched from Google or anyone else, so visiting these pages does not tell a font company anything about you.

Like almost every website, our host keeps short-lived server logs that may include your IP address, the page you asked for, and the time. Those logs exist to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to build a picture of anyone, and we do not combine them with anything else.

We link out to our sponsors, to our photographer, to the people who built this site, and to England Football. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else’s website, under their privacy policy, not ours.

If you email us, we keep your message so we can reply and so we have a record of the conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not pass your details to anyone else. Tell us if you would like your message deleted and we will delete it.

Your basket lives in your own browser and holds only what you picked, never a price and never anything about you. Nothing is sent to us until you go to pay.

Payment happens on Stripe’s own page, so your card details never reach this website. Once you have paid, your name, address, email and what you ordered are passed to our shop system so we can send it, and to the printers who make our kit so they can post it to you. We keep orders for seven years, because they are financial records.

If you join the lottery we ask for your name, your email address and your confirmation that you are 16 or over. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach this website.

Stripe holds your name, email and payment details as our payment company, and emails you a receipt each time you pay. We use your name and email to run the draw, to tell you if you win, and to answer you if you get in touch.

The law that lets us run the lottery also requires us to send a return to Norwich City Council after every draw. That return is about money, not people: how much was raised, how much went out in prizes, and how much went to the club. It does not name anybody.

If you win, we publish the winning number and never your name, unless you tell us you are happy for us to.

We keep a record of your entry for as long as you are in, and then for seven years afterwards, because it is a financial record and we have to. Stop your entry any time using the link in any Stripe receipt, or email leftfieldfc@gmail.com and we will stop it for you.

Playing for the club is separate from this website. If you sign up to train or play, the club will need some details from you, such as your name, contact details and anything we need to keep you safe on the pitch. That is handled by the club directly, and we will tell you what we need and why at the time.

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email leftfieldfc@gmail.com and we will sort it out. If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

If we start doing anything that affects your privacy, such as adding a contact form or measuring visits, we will update this page and change the date at the top of it.
